Selling sunset season 6. Conflict explained.
Nicole and Crishelle
Nicole has narcissistic qualities. In some scenes She lacks total empathy, she can not aknowledge many of her own shortcomings, she is more concerned about her reputation and often becomes the victim when every other tactic fails. She often projects and causes a scene when she is not the center of attention.
Crishelle is often the target of narcissistic abuse. Nicole, like Christine, was feeling threatened by her and tried to tarnish Crishelles reputation.
Nicole possibly has some siblings that were often chosen over her during her childhood and she feels this playing out again and that's why it's so triggering when someone else (Crishelle) is recieving recognition beside her. Crishelles feeling unsafe because it challenges this shadow within her of "you didn't fully earn what you have" which stems from the relationship with her former husband.
If Crishelle owned that she felt that way, owned where she didn't earn what she had as well as where she did, then she would not have been as reactive as she was.
She states that she no longer wants to be quiet and she wants to express herself. She's overcoming that shadow which is often messy in the beginning as expressing ourselves becomes a prioroty over "how" we express ourselves.
Chelsey and bre
Chelsey was originally threatened by bre.
And there are examples where Chelsey seems to be actively trying to tarnish bres reputation.
Chelsey reveals why she was judgemental of bre and explains that she came from a broken home, through no fault of her families but as a means to survive and how she suffered as a consequence and according to her, Bre is actively choosing to be in a "broken home" dynamic and sees the child suffering as she did.
Chelsey feels unsafe as she sees the acceptance of this dynamic around her as others condoning what happened to her. To her, others around her are saying "all that pain that happened to you, that was OK" and she's fighting back responding "it wasn't OK and this needs to be stopped"
Bre reveals her own story and how burnt she has been and how many people have tried to damage her reputation and wants to protect herself and her family.
Chelsey and Heather
Heather observed Chelseys judgments on a very "untraditional" family dynamic and felt threatened in recieving those same judgements.
Heather is ashamed that she revealed to bre what Chelsea had said and that's why she often tries to defend herself from being a "shit stirrer"
it's true that she didn't want to cause drama but she did throw chelsey under the bus (telling bre what chelsey said) to save her own skin (grouping up with bre so she feels safe from "judgemental" chelsey)
chelsey challenges Heather by stating that she would rather Heather had come to her first, before bre and is dissapointed as she values loyalty.
This would have been difficult for Heather as she struggles with vulnerability and is now being challenged as being disloyal as a consequence.
Bre and Heather both struggle with vulnerability and bre feels special because Heather has placed her allegiance in bre from a year long friendship with chelsey.
Mary and crishelle
Mary is suffering the consequences of people pleasing and is massively burnt out from it. Crishelles over come that part of herself and prioritises herself and expresses that to Mary.
